Rohini College of Engineering and Technology

I am from Manipur and I joined Rohinicollege of engineering and technology in Kanyakumari district as per the suggestion made by my neighbor.From the first impression I understood why he suggested me and I should say it is the best engineering college in Kanyakumari district.

I joined for Electronics and communication engineering. It is a 4-year program focused on technologies in critical areas such as telecommunications, electricity and electronics, while promoting the development of the skills required to combine hardware and software components. The course is divided into a total of eight semesters, two semesters per year. Both practical and theory exams are held at the end of each year. The curriculum provides students with a solid base in the foundations of electronics and communications engineering through classes such as Analog & Digital Communications, Signals and Structures, Modern Logic & Circuits, Coding, etc.

The Rohini college of engineering and technology has an a great infrastructure. Here we can learn a lot. Other than studies we can learn about other activities also. I preferred this college because of its good teaching and placements. But after entering this college I learned a lot. My personality is changed after coming to college. I learned to make proper time management.

In my course, we have two semesters for the internship program. So we can make a project in internship. It will be very useful to apply for jobs. So while we apply to any company they might know that we have attended internship and have done many projects. Faculties at RCET college are so helpful. Other than studies they motivate us to read novels and to do other activities. They also suggest movies to watch and also friendly.

We can make internship off-campus. So that we will make some projects. It is very useful while applying for jobs. We can choose any domains and we can search through online platforms like LinkedIn (for off campus). Most of students at RCET, the bestengineering college in kanyakumari district, got placed in the campus interviews. From the 6 and 7 semesters, the students can eligible for campus placements. Most of the MNCs like Infosys, Accenture, TCS and so many companies visit our campus.

Hostel fees are also normal. But we are provided with the best food.We also have scholarships that help many students. And many companies will come and we can attend the companies and get placed.

The campus was full of green. It was a good atmosphere. On our campus, they will conduct fest in odd sem and tech-fest in even sem. There we can enjoy ourselves a lot and also we can volunteer for the programs. And we have a technical fest at RCET where we conduct some workshops and events. And we have so many clubs for dance, music, drama and social activities. In our library, we have all books related to all department. It is very useful to students.

There are so many blocks for hostels. Four members can stay in a room. We have a cot, chair, table and we have all the necessities. If we have any electrical problems, we can inform our RC so that they will clear the problem the next day. The food provides in the mess also good. They will provide sweets every day. And provide ice cream in a week. The menu was also non-repeatable.All these makes RCET the best engineeringcollege in kanyakumari district.
